| NOTICE
"Out...Out...Brief Candle" is an extremely
complex performance. To do this Internet posting justice will take some time. I
am posting it as IN PROGRESS because it
relates to the

PART I of the video document of the
performance (The performance was done continuously and was not broken into
these three parts. It is broken into parts for better Internet access)
Part I contains the Jim Jones suicide tape of the night before the mass
suicides. Contains Gus Wincent's "Out..Out brief candle" in German. The
visuals are the religious healing enactment.

PART II of the video document of the
performance. Part II contains the violence in America sequence and the
"Trust Sequence".

PART III of the video document of the
performance. Part III contains the dance and the recitation of the
"Modern Art" reference in Hitler's "Mien Kampf". It contains the rat
suicide sequence. Also contains the last words of the Jim Jones suicide tape
that was recorded on the night of the mass suicides.

Gus Wincent - (a holocaust survivor that carried a bullet around his neck. The bullet was taken from his body after the war. It was received while escaping a Nazi Concentration Camp) (He did not trust any government and would not let me give him credit as long as he was alive) - Reading Out, Out Brief Candle in German

B.F. Skinner - The male rat (Died July 12, 1995. He died quietly with his eyes closed. He had a respiratory disease for six months or so and had continued to slow down. He had been born around Thanksgiving 1993. He was in upper middle age. There was a full moon on July 12 and the corn that had been planted from the Danse Macabre Performance tasseled this day.)
Ivan (a) Pavlov- The female rat (Died Sunday November 12, 1995. She was only noticeably sick for a couple weeks. She was around two years old when she died. That was early old age for rats.)
